Does your team need a courageous conversation?

For a lot of reasons, I rarely felt safe as a child. You might wonder why I’m telling you this, especially in a professional context. The reason is simple:

As an adult, creating deep connection and safe spaces for honest conversations is one of my key strengths.

In the last few years, we’ve begun to understand the vital importance of psychological safety and its role in helping people to stop “hiding, lying and faking” their way through the work day (Kegan and Lahey Laskow, 2016).

Cultivating safety and trust is foundational to everything I do. They create the foundation for systemic, lasting change.

Organisations can run on fear, but the most inspiring ones don’t. If your team needs a courageous conversation about the team dynamic, the culture, changes coming down the line, or anything else that’s getting in the way of doing your best work, get in touch.

Services

  • Coaching

Coaching is powerful. It offers you a confidential, safe space – a space that is just yours – where you can discuss, process and explore the great topics, questions and possibilities of your work and your life.

As a coach with thousands of hours’ experience, my primary focus is on co-creating a space where you can slow down, step out of your role, and connect with yourself. When that happens, incredible transformation is possible.

  • Consulting

Very difficult, stressful things happen in organisations. Sometimes, we understand what’s happening but don’t know how to address it. Or, we can bury our heads in the sand. Occasionally, we feel completely lost.

As a systemic-psychodynamic consultant, I work with leaders and teams make sense of what is happening in the system and between people, including excavating the unsaid, so that a creative, purposeful way forward can be found.

  • Facilitation

Yeats once wrote that education “is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” I’ve always loved this quote and do my best not to instruct, but to create and hold space where experiential, dynamic conversations, reflection and real learning can happen.

With seven years’ teaching experience and over a thousand hours of facilitation under my belt, I’m a safe pair of hands to design and deliver workshops, talks and L&D programmes.
